About me

I originally trained at the Psychosynthesis & Education Trust in London 25 years ago and since then have developed my pratice using a variety of modalities and techniques that provide a unique fit for each individual client. I believe in a fully holistic approach to counselling and therapy and more importantly that the therapeutic journey does not have to be endless and on-going. I have been involved with a number of charities and not for profits as a life coach, counsellor, therapist and trainer and have managed and run a therapeutic community for people with severe and complex mental health issues. Alongside my private practice I currently work with very challenging and traumatised 8-12 year olds in a therapeutic residential community / w/day school for children. I am quite eclectic and creative within my practice and receive a lot of my referrals and recommendations from local GPs particularly for depression and elevated anxieties. I have a specific 8 week session therapeutic counselling journey which has very high success rates to address these issues. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

"I just wanted to offer heartfelt thanks for your support, encouragement and steerage over the last couple of months. The whole experience has been a real revelation to and a great help to me. I think my parting words were along the line of ‘you WILL see me again.’ It was not a threat nor a promise but merely an acknowledgement that you have helped me enormously and I suspect I may well call upon you for further guidance in the future. Thank you."

"I would like to thank you again for enabling me to embark on such a challenging, productive and life changing journey. It is the beginning of rediscovering "the real me" and I greatly look forward to updating you on progress later in the year."

"I want to thank you again for supporting my son earlier this year, he is continuing to manage his anxiety well. The school put in some reasonable adjustments with his exams and your letter outlining his needs was instrumental in achieving this. He gained 3 'A' Levels at grade B and secured a place at his university of choice. Thanks again."
